Here's my take on it, with Wil Wheaton's FB post copied and pasted below it. (One spells his name with one L only.)
Wil Wheaton is a loser. And yes, I'm a Musk supporter, while I know that he can be harsh and a douchebag and internet troll and more.
Musk is an atheist, and like me he encourages debate. He lures people into speaking their minds, by saying controversial things. He keeps on poking and challenging, and most people find that annoying or even scary (Wheaton calls it dangerous, it seems.)
The wealthiest man on the planet has enough resources to become Dr Evil himself and wipe out all losers on this overpopulated planet. (Sooner or later someone is going to do it via an elaborate plot, like starting a war in Ukraine.)
And yet, every one of Musk's many companies are focused on improving mankind and saving the planet. Solar panels. Electrical cars. Medical stuff. Breaking Russia's monopoly of years to deliver astronauts to the ISS. PayPal that made online shopping go mainstream. And more.
No matter what a wealthy person says, others will always criticize him. It's in the nature of losers to try and drag winners down. The 50-year-old Wheaton is a substandard actor, that hasn't done anything really to make the world a better place. Like is the case with all losers, he attacks Musk personally, instead of any of the points Musk raised. It may gain him some followers among other losers that hate Musk for simply be more successful than them.
Musk lost a 100 million potential clients in Russia when he did the right thing right after the Ukraine war started, by not only stepping up to the right side of history and voicing support for the victim country, but also actively helping Ukraine.
That tells me he is a moral guy that aims to help mankind, even when it will cost him billions in future revenue and may even cost him his life (there were rumors that the Russians had their knife in for him.)
Pretty much every other billionaire in the world remained mum for months after the war started, instead of outright condemning it when it started. Musk could have played both sides of the fence, like they and even the Turkish president did, for financial gain or to become the great negotiator. Yet he chose to call wrong, wrong.
Twitter is an online marketplace where people either sell stuff or shout out their opinions to anyone listening. Democracy and our freedoms rest upon our right to say what we want, and to challenge the points others raised. That leads to problems getting solved, weaknesses exposed, corrupt politicians being outed. But wokelings like Wheaton tolerate that only as long as others say what they want to hear. Otherwise, cancel the (add insulting label by crybaby here)!
Why may Musk not have opinions, why may he not voice his? Many of his tweets are thought-provoking, even when one doesn't agree with it. That's why inventors and creative people come up with new ideas, because they question everything. By the way, it's no coincidence what a large percentage of them are atheists. We infidels like asking questions and getting real answers that are backed by evidence.
As everyone knows, I'm no fan of Donald Trump, to the contrary, I despise that piece of scum that tarnished and divided the USA so much. But I fully agree with Musk to reinstate the fake news spreader's Twitter account this past weekend.
What Trump said he said, it cannot be undone, so why 'burn that book' and hide Trump's lies? One needs to hear the opinions of the enemy, in order to know how to beat him down.
Engaging in robust debate that hurt some feelings is preferable to stifling someone's opinions to the point where the latter goes on a school shooting to be heard.
Freedom of speech goes for everyone. Should Trump incite violence again, well, why do we have a democracy with governments paid by us to uphold the law? We do have laws against people spreading fake news and/or inciting violence, just apply them.
Just because Trump and other members of the Scumminati are allowed back on Twitter, Wheaton and his wokeling brigade runs away. Losers like him don't challenge points raised, oh no, they play the man instead of the ball (which I'm doing too, but he started it! Lol. And at least I'm taking on his points too.)
They run away to their safe space instead of confronting those in the wrong, they do the backstabbing thing by 'canceling out' the livelihoods of others just for one - temporary, and not necessarily flawed - opinion. Me thinks Sheldon Cooper should have kept Wheaton on his enemy list.
I personally do not like the heavily-fucked-in-the-head-with-godsnot actor Kevin Sorbo either. His far-right opinions and often plain fake news make me cringe. But I'd hate it to see him banned or canceled out. Also, he's great trolling material on Twitter, and everyone thinks so. Go check the comments under every singe one of his tweets. Lmao.
To Wil Wheaton's credit, he has a good blog with some insightful articles on there. So he's not always competing with Musk for the Douchebag No. 1 trophy. I think Trump and Sorbo are sharing that trophy.
One doesn't have to like someone, to still give that person credit for good things he did and continues to do. Musk deserves a lot of credit, like forcing crooked car manufacturers to go green, something they could and should have done decades ago. Losers are not doing any of that, no, they focus on dragging winners down.
What's more, Wheaton makes some questionable statements about Musk that are outright untrue and should be challenged on Twitter. Oh wait, the crybaby ran away.
Don't be like Wil with his missing L.
Here is the terrified wokeling Wil Wheaton's Facebook post:
I can not fathom the emptiness, the insecurity, the insatiable need for attention and validation, the staggering arrogance, the malevolence and total void of human experience that is Elon Musk.
He's the richest man on the planet. You can't go anywhere or do anything without interacting with something he's part of in some way. There are literal millions of people who uncritically worship him, in spite of overwhelming evidence that he's a douchebag. Some number of them will come after me, as they come after anyone who points at their naked emperor. They'll spend entire days going after me and people like me, slavishly serving a man who does not even know they exist. They are his army of fools, uncritically serving his every whim. And it still isn't enough.
He can have any material thing he wants, and he will *never* be happy or satisfied. He has no real friends. Every single person around him is either a viper, a parasite, or both.
So what does he do? He bullies and threatens and harasses and trolls and behaves like the weak, scared, insecure child he has always been. That's a tragedy for him, but it's dangerous for us. He doesn't care what he destroys or who he hurts as he chases this existential thing he can not ever have.
You know the saying "hurt people hurt people"? He's a hurt person who is hurting our society, making people I care about less safe. The consequences of this one man's midlife crisis are global, and that terrifies me.
