Why a Career Criminal as Poster Boy Against Racism?

A black nurse, Breonna Taylor, age 26, from Louisville was killed by 3 white cops when they barged into her apartment on 13 March 2020. They had a warrant to search for drugs, and being on edge because it was a black 'hood, they discharged 8 shots, with some hitting and killing her. She was asleep when they broke down the door.

As nurse Taylor was on the front line against Covid-19, and actively saving lives. She was a good person by all accounts. Yet, no protests, no riots, no nothing from black people to honor her unnecessary death, no public outcry to defend a woman.

Then a real scumbag, a liability on society, met his fate: George Floyd.

Floyd was a criminal through and through, and he was arrested on the day of his death for yet another crime. He was also high on methamphetamine, a dangerous drug that makes users aggressive and unpredictable. Is it any wonder then that the cops arresting him dealt in a rough way with him? Is it any wonder that one cop overstepped his authority and accidently killed the scumbag? Certainly the cop could have had no intention to kill Floyd, not while he knew he was being recorded, he surely knew his career and pension would be gone if he killed the suspect.

But then the suspect died. (What effect did the drugs in Floyd's system had, did it contribute to respiratory problems?) The video went viral and caused an outrage, reversed racism, and criminal sprees from many blacks.

Making a hardened career criminal the poster boy against racism is sure to make whites wipe their behinds on the campaign. Silently and politely, of course.

Like most whites I have no respect for any criminal, regardless of his race, and I feel Floyd got what he deserved. He rejected even his own children, they never knew him. In the circles he hung out someone was bound to shoot or stab him sooner or later.

For every crime he was caught for he committed a hundred others, often wronging his fellow 'black brother.' So why the outrage over such a lowlife and not Breonna?

The message we get is that blacks are more at ease with crime than racism, while both should be protested against. But no, let's make a rapist the poster boy, and let us go and destroy the livelihoods of white and black business owners as protest.

Make no mistake, I don't like Trump at all, and I ridicule him every time I see him. But for once I agree with him that the military should grab the vandalists and arsonists and lock them up for a long time. Due to the barbaric behavior of participants - whites included - these protests are not really evoking the sympathy of most whites anymore, simply because we don't like criminals as icons.

The large-scale lootings, arson, and violence is further contributing to the resentment many whites are starting to feel. What white person wants to live next to, and even mingle with a black person, while knowing that that black neighbor may pull out the race card to escape accountability, or to use race as an excuse to go on a spree of vandalism?

We know that Covid-19 had hit the black community in the US disproportionately hard. Yet now they gather together, only to spread the virus even more among themselves. And when the inevitable wave of infections come, it will be the white man's fault again, right.

A few months ago three white cops killed a black nurse, 26 years old and asleep when they barged into her apartment. Why make a career criminal the poster boy against racism, instead of a woman that actually saved lives? This logic is why I and many others regard the protests as an excuse for criminality, and we find it as inexcusable as police brutality.

Blacks don't realize it, but the current violent protests are doing their cause more harm than good on the long term. And unfortunately it will also affect good, honest black people that are completely innocent of any wrongdoing negatively too. This vandalism is hardening the hearts of otherwise good white people, and may get them to vote for Trump. Yes, we may get Trump again because blacks tried to burn down the good ol' US of A. Joe Biden is a pissy against Trump, and the current protests may weaken him even more.

How many blacks will stand up and participate in peaceful protests when a white criminal gets killed by police? It happens. And yes, black police also kill white suspects. Where are black protestors then? Smell the double standards, smell the hypocrisy.

These protests with the alleged goal of wiping out systemic racism is nothing but anger and frustration for being couped up under lockdown boiling over. Any reason to get out to enjoy free movement and to defy government orders, especially when one can score some freebies from shops, would have sufficed. Floyd just happened to be the perfect excuse to get us this new microwave and toaster, honey.
