Coney Island had a Hotel Shaped Like an Elephant

Back in 1884, hunting in Africa was a big thing. You know, killing as many animals as you could, because people felt a fuck for animals. Anyway, in the US anything Africa-themed proved to be popular. Especially the tourism industry smelled cash.

 So a guy decided to build a hotel, shaped like an elephant. Got the pics on FB, and info there was sparse. So I'm just posting the three pics here for now. As you can see, it burned down. Must've been quite a tragedy.
