One of South Africa’s biggest cities, Cape Town, is making the world news for not having water. That while the city is right next to the ocean. People are gripped by a
rising panic that their stupidity may exceed levels previously thought impossile. The idea that they may soon have to
queue for water, carefully rationed out by local authorities under the
watchful eye of the army, is causing frowny faces everywhere.
We know the
first step to getting people motivated to save water is to create the “impression of a crisis”.
In Cape Town, however, this impression is being blown out of proportion
by a number of myths that are perpetuated in social and popular media.
Read the full article about the water crisis in South Africa's murder capital here. On the picture is one of the city's rats nests. The excrement of society is breeding there for the first prize.
